12 - Day Slovenia, Croatia,  Bosnia and Herzegovina Tour 


Day 1  Home to Ljubljana
This evening we depart home to Ljubljana. Overnight on flight. 

Day 2  Ljubljana (D)
Upon arrival in the morning we will check in hotel.  The afternoon is yours to relax.

Day 3 Sep 10 Ljubljana (BL)
Today we’ll take a tour around the capital of Slovenia, which includes old town: Ljubljana Castle, the Pentagonal Tower, Castle Chapel of St George, Penitentiary, and Rustika gallery, triple bridge, Preseren square, St. Nicholas Cathedral, central market, Dragon bridge. We’ll wrap up our tour today by taking a  boat cruise on the Ljubljanica River and see the city from different angle.

Day 4 Ljubljana to Lake Bled to Tolmin (BL)
This morning we drive to Bled. Ride a traditional ‘pletna’ boat to Bled Island, where you can visit the church or try local sweet treats at the cafe. Then, explore Bled Castle, perched high above the Lake Bled’s tranquil waters, next we drive to Lake Jasna and see the Pagan girl, visit the Chapel and the mighty Golden horn statue guarding Lake. Later we drive up to Vrsic, the highest mountain pass in Slovenia with a stunning panoramic view. We’ll make a stop at Boka waterfall, Kozjak waterfall, Napoleon Bridge before arrive our hotel.

Day 5 Tolmin to Piran (BL)
Today we visit beautiful Tolmin gorges. Admire the beautiful Soca River and maybe try white water rafting (optional) or explore the banks of this 'Emerald Beauty' and. Later we drive to Piran, the coast city to Adriatic Sea in Slovenia. After check in hotel it’s your free time to explore the city. There’re many places you could visit such as city wall, Tartini square and port piran at your own pace.

Day 6 Piran to Postojna to Zagreb (BL)
Today we drive to Postonjna Visit the famous Skocjan Cave which is listed on UNESCO on 1986. This cave is so important as the name Karst is come from here. and to Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia. After lunch we’ll explore the highlights this lovely city offers. Visit both the historical Upper town (St. Mark's Church, Stone Gate, Lotrscak Tower) and the lively and energetic Downtown of Zagreb (main Jelacic square, the Cathedral, farmers market Dolac). A ride with the shortest funicular in the world is included.

Day 7 Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes to Split (BL)

After breakfast we drive to Plitvice Lakes to explore the No. 1 UNESCO-listed National Park, also known as the 'Heaven Garden of Europe. After a short walk along both upper and lower lakes, we’ll take a boat ride over the big lake, and a train ride through the park area at the end. You will be able to see 16 green and blue colored lakes arranged in cascades and connected to each other by a series of beautiful waterfalls, surrounded by captivating forests and vegetation. Later we’ll have a short tour and coffee in the historical Rastoke village.

Day 8 Split (BL)
Today we have a city tour. First we visit Visit the 1700 year old Diocletian's Palace and the Golden Gate under the big statue of Grgur Ninski. Later we visit famous Pjaca square and the famous 24-hour "sun" clock. Lastly we’ll enjoy the free time at famous Riva promenade before return to our hotel.

Day 9 Split to Dubrovnik (BL)
This morning we drive to our last stop in Croatia to the famous city Dubrovnik. After lunch we’ll have a city tour. Dubrovnik is one of the best-preserved medieval walled cities in the world, and its Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains. We’ll learn the interesting history of this walled city as you wander around Dubrovnik's City Walls and see Fort Revelin, Minceta Tower and other Dubrovnik landmarks. We’ll end our trip today by taking the famous cable car ride to the top of the 412-meter mountain and enjoy the incredible views: the medieval walled town of Dubrovnik and the vast Adriatic Sea.

Day 10 Dubrovnik to Sarajevo via Mostar (BLD)
Today we travel northwest from Dubrovnik to Sarejevo. We pass by Pocitelj old town and see it’s city walls, forts and Mosque. Visit Old bridge and old town in Mostar. We make a stop at Blagaj and explore famous Blagaj Dervish House. Later we visit open air museum "Battle for Wounded" and destroyed bridge over Neretva which is the most important symbol of the Jablanica. Our last stop is Konjic Old Bridge before we arrive the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Day 11 Sarajevo (BLD)
Our city tour today starts at main pedestrian street Ferhadija, just next to “Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures”. We will visit  Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, Morica Han( only surviving caravanserai in Sarajevo), The Sebilj is Neo-Ottoman stone-and-wood fountain, Sarajevo's famous coppersmith street. Sarajevo City Hall, Latin Bridge where the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand and Sophie Gazi-Husrev Beg's Bezistan was taking place. Later we will take Sarajevo under siege war tour, explore Sarajevo's key sites including Sniper alley and War Tunnel Museum - the life line of " the biggest concentration camp" in the world. Panorama from the highest point of Trebevic Mountain and walking down 1984 Olympic Bobsleigh and Luge Track will provide unique experience. See one of the kind Jewish cemetery which is second by size in Europe, just before one in Prague. Experience Sarajevo from Yellow bastion, and pay tribute to fallen soldiers and first Bosnian president buried at Martyr Cemetery. 

Day 12 Sarajevo to home (B)
We will transfer to airport for the flight home today.
