12-Day South Africa Tour

Day 1 and 2: from Toronto to Cape Town (D)
You’ll depart Toronto in the evening for your flight to Cape Town in South Africa. 

Day 3 Cape Town (B)
You’ll arrive Cape Town this afternoon. After check in hotel you can relax to ease the jetlag.
Accommodation: Cape Town Heritage Hotel **** or similar 

Day 4 Cape Town (B)
After breakfast we’ll visit Robben Island to see the place where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated. After lunch we visit Table Mountain, and you will have an option ($45 p/p) to take cable car ride to the summit, where you can have a panorama view of the city. Return to hotel afterwards. 

Day 5 Cape Town (BL)

Today we drive towards south and to see the largest Penguin Colony at Boulder’s beach in Africa, where you can have a close encounter with the lovely penguins. Later we check out the Old Cape Point which is the southern end of Cape Peninsula. 

Day 6 Cape Town (B)
Today enjoy your free time at Cape Town or take an optional wine tour ($ 130 p/p) or optional Shark diving tour ($300 p/p) 

Day 7 Cape Town to Johannesburg (B)

This morning we take flight to Johannesburg, the capital of South Africa. You will be transferred to your hotel and relax for the rest of your day.
Accommodation: Crown Plaza Johannesberg **** or similar

Day 8 Johannesburg to Kruger National Park (BD)
Early this morning we set off on our 3-Day Kruger Park Camping Safari, departing from Johannesburg, South Africa. The game viewing begins immediately as there is the possibility of spotting wildlife en route to Pretoriuskop Rest Camp, where your safari guide is waiting to show you to your pre-erected tent. We arrive between 15h00 and 16h00, in time to join the sunset game drive in Kruger. 

Our driver and guide is a SANParks game ranger, driving an official Kruger Park safari vehicle to search for nocturnal animals in the park.
Back at camp, there is a traditional South African meal awaits to give you a real taste of South African cuisine. A glass of complimentary wine is served with your dinner

Day 9 Kruger National Park (BD)
The early morning knock on your door signals the start of 2 days on safari in Kruger Park. After a warm cup of coffee and snack, you begin your early morning drive which is the perfect time for seeing predators.
Breakfast will be served back at camp. Relax in the afternoon and enjoy some leisure time at camp during the hottest part of the day. Relax with a good book or enjoy a nap.
In the late afternoon you will embark on a game drive which allows the opportunity to see the amazing wildlife of Kruger Park. Upon your return discuss the day's sightings and listen to lions roaring in the distance while enjoying sundowners before dinner. 

Day 10 Kruger National Park (BD)
The Panorama Trip sets off from Pretoriuskop Camp after breakfast (between 8h00 and 08h30), travelling to one of the quaint, small towns in this scenic area for lunch (own account). Then we continue along the Panorama Route visiting highlights such as Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Lisbon Waterfalls and God’s Window.
After exploring the beautiful Panorama Route we return to Kruger, arriving back at camp between 17h00 and 18h00.

Day 11 Kruger National Park to Johannesburg to Home (B)
On your final morning on safari, there will be time to take a few last photos, and seek out the wildlife you have yet to see during your Kruger Park safari.
Enjoy breakfast before leaving your footprints in the bush, your name in the guestbook and a piece of your heart in Africa.
We drive back to Johannesburg and relax for the night.


Day 12 Johannesburg to Home (B)

This morning is yours to explore the biggest city in South Africa, or take an optional tour for the Apartheid Museum and pay a visit to the southwestern township to encounter the local people and witness their daily life. ($158 p/p).
Your home bound flight from Johannesburg will depart in the evening from Johannesburg. 

Land only price $3600 p/p based on double occupancy with minimum 10 passengers

Single $1450 p/p

1. Scheduled sightseeing by air-conditioned transportation with English speaking guide service or commentary by professional driver

3. Pick-up and drop-off service from airport as specified on the itinerary

All prices are per person, based on a group of minimum 15 passengers, quoted in Canadian dollars and paid by Cash or Cheque.

Required deposit upon registration is $300 per person; final payment is due 150 days prior to departure.
