14 - Day China Harbin Wuhan Zhangjiajie Tour



Day 1-3 Arrival at Harbin in China (D)

Today you board the flight to Harbin to experience the world’s largest ice and snow festival. Upon arrival our tour guide will greet you at airport and transfer to your hotel and relax.

Day 4 Harbin (BLD)


Our itinerary today will include a visit to Unit 731 War Museum to learn how the war crime was conducted by Japanese in World War 2 to innocent civil people and treasure the peace we have now. Later enjoy a free walk along the Central Street to check out Harbin's history and culture. Late afternoon, we will transfer to Zhaolin Park where the Ice Lantern Art Fair will amaze you. The magical and extraordinary ice lanterns and sculptures have literally made the park an icy wonderland. Drive back to your hotel.

Day 5 Harbin (BLD)


This morning, we drive to the Sun Island to see the Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo. Late afternoon, proceed to the Ice and Snow World - the most important theme park of the Harbin Ice Festival. This park features illuminated full-sized ice buildings, ice/snow sculptures, evening shows and all kinds of winter activities. 

Day 6 Harbin to Wuhan (BLD)  


Today we fly to the 7th largest city in China- WUHAN. It became a word famous city due to the pandemic. Upon arrival we’ll check in hotel and relax. After lunch we walk along the Guanggu street and immerse into the vivid city life. Tonight, optional boat cruise (CAD $35 p/p, USD 30 P/P)

Day 7 Wuhan (BD)


This morning we’ll visit local market and experience their breakfast culture “Guozao”, and see how many options the residents have for breakfast. Later we’ll visit Hubei Museum and know the 5000-year history of this part of China. Our last stop today is Donhu park, which has the largest natural city lake in China, the scenery attracts locals and tourist year-round.

Day 8 Wuhan to Zhangjia Jie, Hunan Province (BD)


This morning, we take high speed train to Zhangjiajie, a famous city due to its natural beauty and unique Miao and Tu Minority Culture. The city gained world fame after movie Avatar was filmed here. Upon arrival we’ll check in hotel. After little rest, we’ll visit the beautiful architecture 72 QILOU of Tu minority group, the night view of this structure with lighting is even more stunning.

Day 9& 10 Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (BD)


Today we’ll start our 2-day exploration of the first national forest park in China, and prepare to be amazed by the unique scenery you will never find at other places on earth, and that’s why the director of the movie avatar chose this location to film his Oscar winning work. Optional tour: Amazing Hunan Show (CAD $60 P/P or USD 50 P/P)

Day 11 Mt. Tianmen National Park (BD)


After two days in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, we’ll visit another national park in this area, the Tianmen National Park, which is famous due to its naturally formed gate, locals call it “The Gate to Heaven”. We’ll spend a full day here, and it’s easily accessible by escalators and cable cars, here you can also walk on the glass bottom walkway to enjoy the scenery (optional)..

Day 12 Phoenix ancient town (BD)

Today we take 1-hour high speed train towards southwest and visit the Phoenix ancient town to enjoy the Unesco listed ancient architecture and experience the Tu and Miao Minority culture. The wooden stilt houses that jut out over the Tuo River are one of the most iconic images of this town, and walking along the riverfront or taking a cruise down the river is a perfect way to enjoy the scenery here.

Day 13 Phoenix town to CHANGSHA (BD)

We take high speed train to Changsha in the morning, the Capital city of Hunan Province, which is the birth province of Chairman Mao. We’ll have a city tour today, which include the river side park where Chairman Mao wrote the famous poem after his visit in 1925, and a visit to famous Aiwan Pavilion, and a picture stop at Changsha TV tower, the tallest building in Changsha.

Day 14 Changsha to Home (B)

We’ll fly home today via South Korea.
